Okay, now I'm craving some N and Mewtwo moments again.

It's a bit of a shame that some of the Pokemon involved don't have arms long enough to do a cliche hands-in shot. I really get that vibe from this page.

I hope they really are.

I feel there is a little bit of Smash Bros Ultimate's roster happening on the bottom panel, could be wrong though :D

Seems like they do have empathy or at least bravery to do something right.

Wow, Gardevoir's eyes on the closeup looks like it's drawn with Paint. But it's been on Paint all along though.

About "those who comes after us", I don't think you're the one to speak, you're all perfectly safe from their grasps there in the PMD world, maybe aside from Jerk-o-lantern but she's secured for now.

I wonder if the reason Jen wanted to stay a pokemon is because her sister obviously didn't want to, and Jen wants to be as far away from her because Jen knew her dark side.

Those who come after refer to later generations, those who will have to help manage the condition after the current group has died off.

All In

I think Mewtwo and Co. will be successful. Plan B. is letting the next generation take care of Darkrai. I don't think I could fathom a world without Mewtwo.

@ILeninVelikyNamPutOzaril

Those who come after us in this context references the next generation.

@SmartTurtle04 I feel they really want to help him. But I think Darkrai's family will not be so kind to either Jen or Lovrina, Jen I fear they may take that choise away from here, but her good and kindness maybe enough to make sure she is stuck with Darkrai as his partner, that is the best case I think she has. As for Lovrina, I fear she is mot only stuck a pokemon but I bet she will be returning to the human world stuck a pokemon and a talking in human speak possibly, or is stuck with just a pokemon cry and is going to be someone's pokemon. Ironically I bet it is her brother.

That's... Perfect.

@MercenaryX, Lovrina stuck as Naps's pokemon, would be the best fate for her. Maybe Lovrina will learn something? Nap's is home for Christmas, amazed how Jen caught a Darkrai, and then Jen sees his Gourgeist... That would be an interesting moment...

  Back Up a second...

That's a Gothita. It's a kid! A KID! You're roping a kid into this?

@Kattra Oh yeah you're right. "Pass on" can mean passing on to the next gen.

posted by ILeninVelikyNamPutOzaril on December 18th, 2018, 8:07 pm

  Slight confusion

What did they mean by "Darkrai's family?" The other Legendaries are in contact with Darkrai? Also is this Darkrai the only one in existence? You'd think that a mere human capturing and torturing a demi-god would get more attention but since Lovrina is still breathing it's anyone's guess at this point.

@A Guest - Looks can be deceiving.

In Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, the player isn't a child (the actual age is unknown), but is treated like one due to being unevolved. The player just goes along with acting like a kid to gather their thoughts, learn more about the PMD world, and figure out what happened to them.

Remember Pokemon can refuse evolution. It kinda references a thing with us humans in that we sometimes can mix up new adults as looking like young teenagers.

@Sanmari When they said 'Darkrai's Family', they did, in fact, mean all the legendaries; VF Canon is that they're one big ancient family. The uniqueness of legendaries are probably up to some debate; a fanfic author I read put up an interesting observation about there having to be multiple Resharim and Zekrom in existence if the movies and anime are canon to one another, as an example of this.
And you'd like to think that this would be the case, as Lovrina tortured *two* demigods and is still alive, but my guess is that most of the other Legendaries are either busy with their own realms/jobs, or aren't allowed to do something because that'd come with more serious repercussions... or they're too far down the pecking order to have the kind of power to help (See: the Birds vs their 'Trio Master', Lugia, or the Beasts vs Ho-oh)

@SmartTurtle04 But I want to have it that Only Jen can Understand Lovrina, mind you if she goes home with her sister and Darkrai, I want her to be able to understand what pokemon say like N as a Consequence of what happened to her regardless if she goes back as a human or not. And besides, the older sister needs to learn a harsh lesson because she is so full of egotistical arrogance it is astoundingly the entire Earth has not collapse under the sheer weight of it all.

The team is gathered together... How far we’ve gotten since the beginning.. The end seems neigh.. Whatever happens, I wish you all the best!

The Pokemon Whisperer.

@MercenaryX, Jen talking to pokemon like N would be fun to watch unfold. If Lovrina stays a Gourgiest, and Jen can talk to pokemon in the real world... hypothetically if Lovrina stayed with Jen for Christmas, would it be a gender swapped version of "The Good Son" movie from 1993? Otherwise without Lovrina, Jen could be happy, and make more poke'mon pals! Talk to a Emporion, and ask to surf. Or ask an Unfezant for a quick Aerial trip. Jen could be a great pokemon ranger.

Also, Lovrina is so full of Egotistical Arrogance, I'm amazed that the ENTIRE Solar System has not collapsed under the sheer weight of it all. (Including the Kuiper belt.)

@SmartTurtle04 Isn't the good son the Macaulay Culkin film? The one about the adopted son or cousin or something is a psychopath and is trying to kill his Cousin? If so I hated that movie because it was the leaps of logic in it that drove me nuts. Why would anyone believe this kid? It reminds me of the manga I read and later an anime called monster about the psychopath that was able to get everyone to kill themselves and all that stuff? I think the movie came out before the manga but either way the manga did it better.

But if you're gonna have a gender swapped version of it is also going to have to be a very silly and family safe version of it, With almost Garfield if not fan comic of under tail versions of silly moments without any the political crap. I can so see it now, where Jen snd her good nature Finally kicks in at times to save her sister from her stupid brother when he does something stupid. If only so that she can live for the rest of her life as a pokemon and not have to end up as pumpkin squash soup or something. Darkrai would get a kick out of that that's for sure.

The Macaulay Culkin Film...

@MercenaryX, Yeah, that movie.... The cousin(William) was staying with Macaulay's family. William was accusing Culkin of being the evil that he was (William was a temporary guest) ... Culkin's mother didn't want to believe that....

How about maybe a version of Home Alone would be better then? Where Jen sets up traps for Naps and Lovrina? (Lovrina get's Harry's part, and Naps get Marv's part?) Lovrina and Naps want to take Darkrai back for the XD Process, and Gangar helps jen set up the traps?

@MercenaryX, Yeah that would be an insane Family Christmas.
