Something else bad's going to happen, isn't it? I don't want it to happen, since everything's happy right now, but I feel a sense of foreboding danger.

Am I the only one who wishes to see the side of Lopunny's story?

Poor Jen.. it's finally got to be too much for her. She's been through a lot.

That's a nice little reunion you got there, it would be a shame if someone interfere.

Though, I don't think Hoopa will come out just yet. We still have the N-Wes-Lovrina sidearc to complete too

Well, ain't that nice?

It's nice to see them okay, like comics and movies cliché when the heroes have a really hard saving.

Oh, Jen

She’s the sweetest thing. I love this comic so much.

@Guest - I don't know if that's plausible at this point. At least you could hope for Sulfurbunny to share anything behind the scenes that was cut from VF after VF concludes in full.

At most, maybe a flash back could happen later before the end of VF.

Me too, Jen. Me too.

I suppose Medicham was okay because of being part-fighting?

Reunions Are Sweet

This is a very nice part of the story. I was wondering why Team Charm was gone. Which means that something bad is going to happen really soon. (Jen's expression in panel three, and then a hug in panel four is too much for words.I guess is why it is drawn?)@Guest Now I also want to see What happened to Team Charm during Jen's adventure through the void.

I’m really looking forward to rereading this once the comic is complete, it’s been such a great journey

  Let It All Out

There’s the crying I was hoping to see from her. Thank goodness.

I can’t wait to see what happens when Mewtwo finds out about how Jen (likely) did what he couldn’t bring himself to do.

Jen is Sure taking it on the chin. She really is covering up just how badly she's hurt on the inside.

Jen Needed a Hug.

Jen had to fix the world by her self. (With Hoopa's Help) Now she can get support from her friends. It is nice to see everyone back together.

Just you wait until everyone sees Darkrai's hair...

posted by Leekodot15 (Guest) on June 21st, 2018, 9:03 am

Poor Darkrai.

@Leekodot15 (Guest). Do you think the Lopunny and Medicham will laugh alot at Darkrai's new hair due, while Gardevior tries to be polite about it?

@littlekirby61524 From what I recall from some dex entries, part of the Medi's psychic power comes from inner discipline and focus... kinda an extension of reaching a zen like state of focus... so, if that's the case, then the lack of psychic power comes to a fat load of "no big deal". For many/most psychics, as a vague analogue: it'd be like spending your entire life being able to hear, and then suddenly, the entire world, yourself included, lost all sounds; you couldn't hear anything anymore. That's why Mewtwo, and apparently to a somewhat lesser extent, Gardevoir, shut down... they lost a sense entirely, one Mewtwo relied on so extensively, he became nearly non-functional in its loss. I suspect the same "loss of a sense" is probably part of why Darkrai went down too.
And before anyone really decides to say normal types got off easy, half of what makes a normal type special is their immense pool of potential moves, which were likely sealed by the strange effect like everything else... so Lopunny could probably have kicked butt, but it would have been closer to watching a martial artist punching and kicking stuff than the usual pokémon type attacks... which is partly why Jen stood a chance against a legendary who had better stats than her, in one-on-one combat... Jen knew how to fight without all the bells and whistles, everyone was gonna fight like animals... or humans...

@DrakonLameth Reading over your analysis, it makes sense on how things went, however, there is one that is bringing up questions, specifically: Hoopa.

I get that Hoopa is a genie-like being, but wouldn't it have also been affected by being within The Void? Or is there something that I'm missing from not looking stuff up?

@littlekirby61524 I guess Hoopa is the best one to explain it-according to what he/she says "Hoopa is what Hoopa is". Hoopa has two forms and those two forms sort of resemble its role in the pokemon universe.

Remember some pages back when one of the pokemon(Alakazam it was I believe, said that pokemon were not always called as such, until humans did so-a really nice touch by the author IMO coz the whole collective referring to such powerful entities as "pokemon" always bothered me pretty much for years.)

Hoopa kinda symbolizes an antithesis for the rules of the creation engine-the same rules that gave and stripped the pokemon of their powers in it(the powers that made them pokemon, so their physical abilities otherwise were intact) Hoopa in its bound form is somewhat an entity that always bends the rules-but remains 'bound' by them. This is probably why its such a trickster and always seeking loopholes-shown by its rings which can also form portals.

Unbound-Hoopa outright breaks these rules- its somewhat the reason why Hoopa is bound always and seeks to be free- Hoopa represents the unwillingness of entities to be controlled or bound by anything and their desire for freedom and individuality (which come to think of it, most pokemon do not have, rather they stick to tradition).

Now this might also be why Hoopa seems twisted and evil to us-it really serves no master, it is 'free' in possibly an extreme sense- so free of even conscience, responsibility and any morality that it may literally do anything it pleases-without any regard for the consequences, to itself or others.
