Watch it somehow have an effect on him

posted by Meshoy on June 8th, 2018, 2:38 am

Dang I just like him more and more. Anyone who takes good care of Mewtwo is good in my booksM

posted by Kattra on June 8th, 2018, 2:52 am

Ain't type effectiveness a good thing?

Normal comic cliche would make Darkrai somehow gets affected a whole lot more, but since we're talking SulfurBunny here, I believe Darkrai wouldn't get really hurt

Well, Mewtwo CAN learn Miracle Eye...

What are you planning Darkrai..? Hopefully something anti-climatic.

posted by SensingTabby (Guest) on June 8th, 2018, 3:52 am

I think Darkrai almost forgot about the has a little effect thing.

I read the second panel as "stop or I'll kill you."
I had to read that a few more times before I got it right. XD

Anyway, Go Darkrai! Save Mewtwo!

@RNI(guest): well what is mewtwo a move set?
Psychic, Psystrike, Focus blast, and shadow ball right?
Unless this is an ‘endless move set’ sorta comic…

posted by Shadow_Strikr on June 8th, 2018, 7:06 am

@Shadow_Strikr - Mewtwo has the following moves (techniques in VF):
Psystrike - First shown when Mewtwo fought Victini in their second fight.
Focus Blast - Mewtwo taught Gengar this back at Purity Forest.
Shadow Ball - First shown when Mega Mewtwo Y was clearing the Monster House in Destiny Tower.
Protect - First shown when Mewtwo was protecting himself when facing the wild Gengar.

posted by Ngamer01 on June 8th, 2018, 8:22 am

@Ngamer01: I would presume it's endless, if you consider how mewtwo lifted the rock he intended to slam down on victini. That would TECHNICALLY be psychic.

posted by Lynxiechan on June 8th, 2018, 8:57 am

Drakrai to the Rescue!

It is nice to see friends helping each other, when they are in need. @Lynxiechan Mew Two was going to smash Victini with the Wigglytuff Guild sized rock. TECHNICALLY wouldn't it be rock smash?

posted by SmartTurtle04 on June 8th, 2018, 9:22 am

@Lynxiechan - Well VF does incorporate elements from the entire Pokemon franchise including the anime. But my head-canon says, Mewtwo can forget a few moves to use other moves and then relearn what he forgot.

Focus Blast - He can always relearn it from Gengar if Mewtwo ever had to give up the move. If Gengar should forget though... =X

Shadow Ball - Mewtwo can relearn this from Gengar provided if Gengar didn't forget.

Protect - Mewtwo can relearn this from Team Charm's Gardevoir provided if she didn't forget it.

Mewtwo can't give up Psystrike since it's Mewtwo's signature move. No other Pokemon can learn and use it like Mewtwo can.

@SmartTurtle04 - Rock Smash is for breaking rocks outside battle. In battle, the user just punches the ground and rocks go flying at the foe to pelt them.

Shame if a certain someone tried to call for Mewtwo's help...

  Cue The Music

I’m not sorry.

posted by CIR (Guest) on June 8th, 2018, 11:35 am

Why doesn't Mewtwo just fire a move off into the air?

posted by Vulpixieee (Guest) on June 8th, 2018, 12:45 pm

Wait, does this comic go by Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky logic? If so, Darkrai's still gonna feel this...

posted by Blaze01 (Guest) on June 8th, 2018, 2:27 pm

@Vulpixieee - Mewtwo can't control his powers due to being overloaded when his psychic power returned all at once.

You have to remember Mewtwo was completely stripped of all psychic power in the distortion of Buried Relic and spent a lengthy amount of time without any psychic capabilities. He got rusty at controlling his powers as a result of being without them for a lengthy period of time.

If Mewtwo tried using Psystrike now Darkrai or no Darkrai, there will be no telling if Mewtwo can vent his excess energy safely or he'll murder (almost) everything (along with himself possibly) within a 100-mile radius.

Looks like it's nap time.

This might be about the time when Hoopa shows up expecting his end of the bargain.

Hoopa gets his "All of Mewtwo's effort and power" clause, and Mewtwo gets to loose his pent up energy, and everyone's happy.

  Oh no

Darkrai may be immune to it, but his Dream Pearl isn’t. Might wanna take it off first.

@Ngamer01 @Lynxiechan @SmartTurtle04
So pretty much, mewtwo has ALL THE MOVES

posted by Shadow_Strikr on June 9th, 2018, 9:28 am

Mew Two Is A Legendary For A Reason.

@Shadow_Strikr. We were all right!

Darkrai Shall Survive

I get it, his powers were suppressed, and now its all rushing back to him and he cant control it.

posted by Killerat on June 9th, 2018, 11:32 pm

You're right

@Tiberious (Guest) that seems like just the thing SulphurBunny would do... but what would Hoopa use that power for? Probably something bad is my guess

posted by TechnoPuff on June 10th, 2018, 8:31 am

It kinda looks like Darkrai is about to snap his neck

posted by Yeet (Guest) on June 10th, 2018, 9:10 am

This is going to be Interesting....

As a side bet, does anyone think that this will go badly for Darkria or will Mew Two not affect him as a dark type? There is still a bet for what Hoppa's plans are. It is currently worth $426,000 poke! (Plus Prizes)

posted by SmartTurtle04 on June 10th, 2018, 12:26 pm

I'm calling it now, it's going to hurt regardless.

posted by MercenaryX on June 10th, 2018, 7:25 pm

Please be careful.

If this goes wrong I'll be reallllyyyy sad.... Also, isn't this going to hurt? It'll hurt both of them, won't it? Oh dear, I don't like this.

posted by PrettyWittyKitty on June 10th, 2018, 8:06 pm

This May Sting A Little...

I think Darkrai may be a little in over his head here. Also Tomorrow is Tuesday!

posted by SmartTurtle04 on June 11th, 2018, 5:13 pm

3312! 3312!
iz gon splode man!

posted by darth deebious the wise on June 11th, 2018, 7:31 pm

  So Hoopa can't act here.

But he has Mewtwo who has an unbreakable contract to do a favor for him. This attack probably won't kill Darkrai but it might knock him out, and if Hoopa shows back up and demands that favor be done, Gengar is going to have to deal with Mewtwo.

Oh Dear.

Darkrai May Actually Come Out On Top.

Darkria is a dark type. He should be all right, right? Considering that Mew Two was created to be a weapon..... 50/50 on Drakrai sending everyone to Kingdom Come?
