Gotta do big stuff

So I was right after all

She’s hardened now.

She's growing

This comic is ending, boo hoo hoo. Oh well, its been great so far.

posted by Tankinator2000a on June 1st, 2018, 2:30 am

Nu-uh, nope. This is too easy. They are both walking on a preternatural floating landmass while speaking casually. All signs are pointing toward the fact that everything is about to go terribly wrong. Yup, hell on poke'earth is about to begin, and the great culling of the non-believers will soon become known. A homicidal god who shows no mercy and smites all who oppose him...The age of Shuckle has arrived, may his reign last for all eternity, because Arceus knows his defensive stats are way too high! (And somehow Jen caused it, Idk lmao!)

Victini, you bitch. You traumatised Jen. NOW YOU CAN DIE IN WHATEVER HELL YOU END UP IN, TOO!

Deal with it, Gengar.

She's a bit too tough for her age now, though. Can't imagine what she will be or how she will do in the human world.

Oh wait, she could be a cop with her mental now. Her name is Jen, so I wouldn't be THAT surprised if her name is Jenny, as in the family line of Officer Jenny(ies).

posted by Guest on June 1st, 2018, 4:10 am

oh no. The human-turned-Pokemon and Pokemon walking away downwards from an important site in the sky that just saved the world from being destroyed, with the Pokemon holding the relic that was vital to the quest? Anyone else getting flashbacks to explorers of time/darkness/sky?

posted by Guest on June 1st, 2018, 4:39 am

Huh... some people still don't know that Gengar used to be a human.

And.....There Back!

It is nice to see Jen and Gangar talking to each other. I may have said this before, but Jen has really grown. Now they are going to go find the rest of the team! It is the first day of June! @Guest You are saying that Jen, is apart of the Officer Jenny Police Squad....because of her name? Hmm, I wonder why no one else has commented though?

  Yeah no

People keep saying the end is coming. I mean I dunno what you guys define as "the end" and how long it lasts, but I'm thinking this comic won't be trough until AT LEAST 750/800 pages - but to properly conclude this arc and thus the overall story, give closure and final rites (that won't be glossed over in just one page because Sulfurbunny so yay), we can expect this comic to go to until 850 pages tbh.
Maybe the latter one's stretching it somewhat. but believe me, this comic isn't over before #750. Any sooner and it'd be a speedy, rushed even, end to an otherwise well-paced comic.

@ some guy 123_Five - Yeah we can't be done this quick. Most books run about 100 pages give or take. I'm not sure if Sulfur already has the rest of the comic drawn and put in the buffer, but give and take any last minute changes to newer pages in the buffer and any epilogue comics Sulfur could make, it'll still be a little while before the end of VF.

You guys forget that a pissed off Arceus was on the cover of this comic arc. Guess what was on the previous comic arc, Destiny Tower. Arceus will appear, probably as the final boss.

Also Sulfurbunny I thought said that this was the last arc of Victory Fire. Whether anyone is ready for the true ending or not doesn't matter. This whole shebang is coming to an end pretty soon. How it will end is anybody's guess.

To everyone saying "the comic is ending"

Re-read 604: Ultimatum, please and thank you, have a nice day.

I hope This Won't Jinx Anything...

I am not saying that the comic is officially ending, I meant that it is nice to see how Jen has grown from the beginning. There is going to be at least 700 plus pages, before this comic is over. I just want to keep reading the comic.

posted by SmartTurtle04 on June 1st, 2018, 3:19 pm

Yyyyeah, how sure are we that Victini died? 'Cause now would be a great time for her to pop up again and try to kill everyone again.

I almost kinda hope that would happen, actually, 'cause it would suck for Jen to be partially responsible for someone's death. Not only that, but the death of a legendary probably-only-one-of-its-kind creature.

Jen's EXP Rose?

@Shadow_Strikr, @ISpamYou, @WiispNightmare: What level do you think that Jen is at?

Jen is still trying to process what just happened. Doing the only thing keeping her sane.

Regarding #604 / Ultimatum: Hmm. Hoopa's terms might just mean we're gonna see mega-evolved Mewtwo again before the strip ends.

Jen's running on adrenaline and shock right now. Once that wears away, those injuries are going to smart a bit..

I really like how true to the games this comic is, in the big things and in the little things.

For instance, it is perfectly modeling how the MC eventually attains incredible degrees of badassery by the late game.

  well then

666 well maybe the blood in this one can be used to summon the devil lol I love this stuff

At least it went *pretty* weird instead of the other weird...

Those eyes in the second panel are the eyes of someone who's grown at least two years this day.

But, um, Jen...are you gonna mention Hoopa to Gengar? I feel like he ought to know...before the little trickster shows up again. To be honest, that's what I'm expecting, way more than Victini making a sudden reappearance.

@Guest who was talking about Shuckle: *sporfle*

  Not usually one for theorising...

Someone on another site pointed out the possibility that the Jen we’re seeing here isn’t actually Jen, or at least Jen in mind and spirit. It’s possible that the joke I made two pages ago, about her having been possessed by Hoopa, has actually happened. It would explain;

- Why Hoopa is no longer present
- Jen’s unusually stoic reaction to seeing Gengar “exist” again, her own injuries and the new surroundings they find themselves in
-Jen’s line about how “there’s more stuff to do”, implying knowledge in universe fixing that Jen wouldn’t possess
-Jen’s line (“Yeah. Weird.”) sounding a LITTLE too sarcastic, implying the lack of weirdness to her (him?), which would make sense if this was actually Hoopa speaking
-Jen brushing off Gengar in such a deadpan way and her language not really sounding like her
-Why Gengar looks like that. He can see aura’s and it’s possible he’s suspicious about Jen’s behaviour for all the reasons above, so he might see something off about Jen’s aura.

I dunno. Don’t usually theorise, but this one did seem plausible enough for me to share.

posted by CIR (Guest) on June 3rd, 2018, 5:48 am

Interesting Theory.

@CIR (Guest). Hoopa is a ghost/psychic pokemon. Considering, how Jen was dealing with Victini's defeat, you may be onto something. I just want to know what is Hoopa's Plan in The Grand Design of things?

I can't wait for tomorrow. A new page always pops up around midnight, but I am sleeping.
