Huh. Selectively mute Mewtwo? I'm down with that

Interestingly, Mewtwo is speaking English. Can he speak Japanese too?

Even MewTwo can't think under pressure better than Jen.

@Guest : well, of course. I mean, he should've been along with N long enough to understand English, or Japanese, whichever it is.

I somehow have to imagine that Mewtoo makes really cute Mew sounds while trying to speak physically (for human ears).

Mewtwo isn't "selectively mute". But he so rarely uses his physical vocal tract, you know? I figure that physical speech doesn't feel good to him—kind of like overstraining a muscle after months of enforced bed-rest, or some such.

I’m actually a little glad we didn’t run into the English-Kanji problem that Jen and Gengar had.

@Meow(Guest)
I'm pretty sure that Sulfurbunny at one point said that Mewtwos physical voice is the same as the one he has in Super Smash Bros.

There's also the point that he doesn't really have the muscle memory for actually speaking, does he? It's like an Spaniard trying to speak french for the first time.

Welp! We are off on the adventures of dangerous floating sky rocks and probably some other really dangerous stuff so hurray!

Man mewtwo can write really well in dirt with his hands

Exciting :D

This is sketchy

I don't entirely like the fact that the last frame has mewtwo hovering in mid-air. Makes me think that the rock underneath is going to disintegrate.

I'm still very suspicious of this whole thing...

Well Mewtwo did having hard time thinking and talking without it's powers at least it can write it down on dark sand :P

Mewtwo's Expressions

I love Mewtwo's faces in panels 2 and 4! They speak volumes for how he's thinking and feeling. (Especially panel 2. That intense frustration/near anger is so awesomely shown!)

Heh, this whole thing is turning out to be quite the learning experience for Mewtwo.

Poor baby, having to walk with your legs and communicate with actual sounds (or writing) instead of just being a God-Tier Psychic at everything. This is what the rest of us mere mortals work with every day.

Good thing even de-powered, Mewtwo's not exactly feeble. He might not do things physically very often, but he was still designed to have a pretty darn strong body.

I love how human SF makes Mewtwo out to be as well as such a goof at times, we need more of these moments with him.

  Let's-a-go!

This is when all the time put into platformers pays off! (Also Engrish.)
