Jen, as always, wins when it comes to faces.

There are a lot of cool characters in this comic, and a lot of interesting threads and subplots. But even among such a strong cast, the Jen + Gengar dynamic continues to stand out, and is still the part that makes me keep coming back again and again.

It's not that the other characters are sub-par in any way. They range from "perfectly serviceable" to "excellent" and "fascinating". But Gengar and Jen are simply fantastic, and every time they get more screen time, I'm reminded of why I fell in love with this strip.

Keep on being awesome, Sulfurbunny. Your creations are amazing.

Pfffft, yeah, not the best idea.

  Gengar, you can run...

...but you can't hide from your past.

Nor would we want you to when it lets Jen do The Face again.

The shop owner must be trying to not laugh right now.

My. That was a fast turn around.

Also, are we sure that Jen isn't a fire type considering that burn?

Yes, just yes

Also, context for this. If you saw the pilot episode for the PMD anime that never was, Gengar & co. kicked over this guy's shop once. Took every last thing and didn't leave a cent behind 'em. Don't know how they got away with it, considering Team Meanies were pretty weak while the Kecleons were jacked, but whatever. That's probably what Kecks is implying by "old debts".
