It's 2:05

I'm hitting refresh

You guessed right

Is Tuesday night

Welp. It's confirmed. The others have no idea who N and Wes really are, and Wes isn't telling.

Honestly, I almost want to say that sulfurbunny missed and opportunity here by making N the Zoroark instead of Wes. Because Wes seems like the type who would overhear that, then change his face. Just his face. To look like a paper bag with eyeholes and a drawn-on smiley face.

Either that or say something like "Why would I ever want to hide this impossibly handsome, swagalicious, kissable face?" I know I'd be tempted.

@Autoboooty (Guest) so I'm not the only one lol

@Shotgun Chuck
The choices were probably done mainly by how closely they resembled their human counterpart [I.E N's long hair to match Zoroark, Krokorok matching Wes' nature (Moxie, Intimidate, Anger Point)] and that both are dark types so Mewtwo "can't read them".

And Lovrina is a Gourgeist from the long pink hair.

@Tellin Teller:

I figured it was something like that, but it still would have been fricking funny to see Wes' reaction to them saying that about him. Like I said, he just seems the type to either do something stupidly literal or say something deliberately obnoxious and then be all like "LOL, u mad?"

I like this. It reinforces the notion that Mewtwo isn't an end-all omnipotent Deus Ex Machina some more. They are all a team with roles to fulfill.

I wonder what N and Mewtwo will say to each other.

@Autoboooty and @Ayy: I do the exact same thing XD Except I didn't last night because I had to get to bed, and VF updates at four in the morning for me, so.

Ouch, Gardevoir. *sends hugs to her and Mewtwo and really just everyone right now*

I really can't wait to see the N/Mewtwo conversation that is coming up now. And I have to wonder why N and Wes haven't said they're humans yet? Maybe, in all the ensuing confusion, Mewtwo forgot to mention it to Team Charm, and they think the Team would be kind of weirded out if they said, so they're not bringing it up till Mewtwo says it's okay. Although, if they keep flubbing basic Pokemon knowledge tests like that, they're bound to give it away.

Since they're dark types, Gardevoir and Medicham can't read them, so unless they spill the beans and say it out loud, they have no idea that they're former humans.

Based on the way Lopunny trusted Gengar a while back though, it seems that most Pokémon treat humans kind of like Celebrities or something lol. I suppose from their perspective, humans are no different than them on the moral spectrum, seeing how even other Pokémon are capable of doing terrible things, but unlike them, humans are a thousand times better at fixing the world than they are.

Yeah @Cheesy-Squeezy (Guest)
I've got nothing to add to that, best I can say is that is that the Celebrity you talk about can be a double edged sword of Damaclies. It will cut both in good and bad way, very bad ways that have the ability to do a "You're going to have a bad time." moment for you if you meet up with the wrong person. Or in this case Pokemon.

Do they not know N and Wes are human yet? Hm.

@Cheezy-Squeezy: You make a few good points. Although, I would argue that Pokemon are usually pretty good at fixing the world; sometimes they're the only ones who can.

Poor mew-mew. This comic is awesome!

Either Gardevoir or Medicham will read their minds just by habit and we'll get another lil' drama, I'm calling it

posted by Noobaraptor on February 15th, 2017, 1:54 am

@Noobaraptor

The're both Dark Types, and Dark Types are immune to psychic. That's why Mewtwo couldn't read their minds earlier to verify who they were.

Hah! Nice touch with Gardevoir saying that, considering her backstory.

  Medicham -_-

How many humans have you known?

Aren't you even starting to get it, you know about the weird names?

Well maybe pokemons don't know what names are and thus don't think about something they don't understand..
