Mewtwo. Mew

Interesting to know Mewtwo can't teleport :o

@Guest, he is thinking about how it would work too much, so he can't get himself to do it. He is more intelligent than most Pokemon, and some of it makes him think about his powers too much, to the point that he can't do it.

Sorta like me and heights...

Well, at least Hoopa is being helpful so far anyway.

I really like the way Wes is drawn in panel 2.
Also I doubt Hoopa is on anyone's side. I think he's just doing what he does for LOLs.

I'm kinda looking forward to Jen Wes N and Gengar antics all meshed up. Is mewtwo trying to find them, maybe Jen knows wake up slap or something

I don't think Hoopa is on anyone's side. She showed up because of AWD and didn't seem to be a shadow mon. She wants something from Mewtwo, but what it is remains unknown (get the joke?)

Can't wait to see what happens when they meet with Gengar, Jen and Darkrai.

Actually, I think Hoopa's unbound form isn't too far off from being a type of shadow pokemon, only going into that form makes him/her/it's power kind of unstable and hard to control.

Well, Wes gets it.

And Mewtwo's right to be careful, something like that will have it's own agenda that it's going to try and impose.

Well, if it appears and starts making awkward demands, you can throw Caterpies at it

Clearly, Hoopa never read any Emily Post.

Mewtwo! ... I am - almost - not glad to see you. I mean, I'm glad to see you, but I'm worried about Darkrai. I am hoping this means we'll see a Gengar/Jen/Darkrai & Mewtwo/N/Wes reunion soon, though :D

It's funny that your Mewtwo doesn't teleport; I've seen so many versions (including my own) where he does it as a matter of course that I just thought it was universal, but then I realized that (unless I've missed something) he's never been shown to teleport in any of the canon adaptions, so we're kind of making it up.

It just struck me that it makes sense for Wes to be more aware of how people will use their words carefully, in order to leave themselves a loophole, or avoid incriminating themselves. Considering Wes's background, he's probably done the same thing himself. Or maybe he just really likes stories about genies XD

Also, the artwork on this page is beautiful :)

As usual, game data and dex entries are VF's primary info source. Mewtwo indeed does not learn Teleport, unless you look waaaay back to gen1 where it was a TM. Since he's never once picked it up since, despite move tutors and events, we can assume it's not a thing for him.

EDIT: He also learns Dive but not Surf. HEADCANON: Mewtwo can't swim because he has terrible buoyancy :B

@sulfurbunny: Two headcanons: Mewtwo just needs a Teleport TM (but they stopped making them years ago and they're super rare), and he *can* swim, but he resents ferrying people across the water, so every time someone tries to make him carry them he just dives.
