Talk about being a wisecracker at inappropriate times.

So... how long has it been since Darkrai tossed Lovrina into nightmare? Has she been constantly asleep since then, or does she wake up periodically? If the latter, how is she still alive?

Looks like it's time to find Cresselia, or at least a Lunar Wing

Pretty sure she's no Princess.

That has to be the best "That was not amusing" face since Mewtwo's in comic 405.

Wes. WES.

That aside, I love how you drew Misdreavus in panel 2. The way the necklace is "falling apart" makes it seems as though that's some kind of representation of her state - as it collapses, so does she, and she's barely holding herself together. In her situation, I'd be the same.

That said, how is Lovrina still alive? I mean, even if your digestive system's output goes, erm, on automatic, you'd still need to feed yourself. For that matter, if you lie in one place without moving for too long, you're going to have some problems with blood circulation. When we go unconscious or otherwise incapable of controlling our mouths and tongues, we need intravenous water and nutrients pretty much 24/7, and we're rarely if ever asleep for long enough for blood circulation to come into play. How long has she been asleep?

@Guest:

For better or worse, it is implied that she wasn't always sleeping. So she managed to survive somehow in between the times she was awake.

I think the correct question to ask is: How long has she been unconscious, not that she still is.
Remarkably, the human body can survive without food for quite a while.

As for staying hydrated, that might be a bit harder to explain, but ones rate of survival can be influenced by the environment itself. In other words, it is possible that with the proximity of the sewer system's potential airborne precipitation (Gross! X_X) and the constant filtration of water thereof (not counting for the possibility that Misdreavus could have phased water into her/helped her stay hydrated, while doing the same with food), it is hard to say.

But laying down in her position, and without eating or drinking anything at all, I'd say in realistic terms, she would have only lasted about a week and a half at most.

Though that doesn't factor in the possibility that time flows differently beyond the barrier than it does on the side where humans live. If this is the case, then I'd have to guess that only a little bit less than month has passed on the side where Jen and Gengar currently reside, while only a few weeks or slightly less have passed on the side where N and Wes are.

But judging purely on the basis that she is not yet skin and bones at this point, I'd have to say Misdreavus has definitely been caring for her quite well all things considered.

Now, about that kiss though... >_>

Once again, you are put through my trials. Once again, you fail my test. You do not atone for your sins, and are therefore cursed to suffer agony in an endless loop. Until you learn. Until your greed is no longer. Die, Mario. Experience the torment you ha

@XD-MADNESS
NO NO NONONONONONO! No TIME ANYTHING! That borders on timetravel and that screws up everything, so NO! I will not accept that nor acknowledge it beyond the issue of how wrong it is. No, the only think I can accept is that if Lovrina is in a coma or something, then she may have taught her Misdreavus how to care for a human body that is incapacitated in anyway. She may have taught her enough medical knowledge in the event Darkri hit her with what ever he did to her.

That's assuming she's still in there brain and soul wise. Because I'm guessing that V is Lovrina and that she got turned into a pokemon herself. And isn't Jen the sister of Lovrina? If so what kind of person turns their own family into an experiment like that?

Either way I'm sticking with my theory that the Plazsma is using the ledgend of the Pokemon queen who enslaved pokemon to try and take over the world. And they are turning humans into pokemon to make them have a taste of that enslavement after building up an army of human turned pokemons, more so those that are made into ledgenardies. Think about it. What "Take over the world" origination wouldn't want that?

Uh...well, at the risk of sulferbunny reprimanding me for the sixth or seventh time...? Meh, I can't remember how many times I've crossed the line anymore :(

I don't think it makes sense to discount the possibility of the barrier separating the two zones has a significant time differential. I mean, the cover for this book (pt.) has temporal tower on it, and Grovyle + the two main protagonists in Explorers of Darkness/Time have already traveled through time multiple times already.

As for Misdreavus, I think you might be overestimating her medical knowledge...by a lot...maybe? And I highly doubt that Lovrina expected for everything to go as wrong as it did either.

Yes, Jen is her sister, but earlier in the comic, it was stated that only one of the first born can transform another human into a pokemon + Darkrai has already admitted that he was the one who turned Jen into a pokemon by the way.

As for a...pokemon queen (Is this movie canon material?) I'm not going to say it's wrong or right. I honestly have no idea whats going to happen. But if I had to lean towards anything at all, I'd have to say that @Dark Matter and his theory of Miror B being the mastermind villain of this comic is definitely without a doubt 100% correct lmao!

Oh my god...Wes understands Misdreavus

I absolutley love how when N questions the faithfulness of pokemon to bad people Wes just casually says that it's how they are. It doesn't confuse him because he knows what it's like. The way Misdreavus feels towards Lovrina is exactly the same as how Umbreon and Espeon felt about him back when he was a corrupt person. I feel like that moment got a bit overlooked by most people, but I thought it was a very nice touch.
