"I don't speak spook"
The best line I've heard in quite a while.
Keep up the good work sulfurbunny ;)
Oh, and, I was wondering, can Espeon and Umbreon understand Misdreavous, or in other words, can Pokemon understand other pokes? Specifically trained ones, cause Gengar and Audino and others can understand each other?

So based on what was said,it sounds like Lovrina has fallen into a... coma?

Misdreavus never said that "Miss" was Lovrina. Could it be her younger sister...?

EDIT: okay, so "Miss" apparently hurt and caught something she shouldn't have, which REALLY heavily implies Lovrina-- but then again legendaries and mythicals tend to have very interesting relationships with the innocent. Like Jen. And Jen might not have KNOWN she was hurting "it", be that Darkrai or Victini.

Okay Lovrina is either dead or a basket case by this point.

@PJSam I am under the impression Victory Fire runs on 'Nobody dies' rule. Except in a tragic flashback, maybe.

For the most part, nobody has died prematurely yet. Though that doesn't mean nobody in Pokémon has ever died.

Kecleons trainer outlived him. And so far, only a few characters from the anime can actually be considered truly dead.

Cyrus (there is no way he's still alive), Hunter J, and if you count the movies, then Mewtwo basically vaporized all the scientists, except for Fuji who most likely survived though lost all his hair from the explosion - which I'll assume is why he is now bald when seen living in Lavender town. And I think someone else died in the banned episodes involving team rocket best wishes during the Meloetta arc.

(...Ash has died at least four times - New theory, Ash Ketchum is a zombie, and doesn't age because he is already dead. He just doesn't know it yet XD)

See, that right there sounds like the influence of Darkrai. And given what happens if you spend too much time asleep around him...I doubt this comic outright operates on the no-kill rule; more likely, it's the "no on-screen deaths" rule. Much more common. So either Lovrina is dead as the proverbial doornail, or she's laid out in a coma and a few moments from it. I'm going to guess the former, because one of Darkrai's abilities is to keep people in slumber. Without the ability to eat or drink, or change her bedpan (ew but it is relevant), or even exercise beyond thrashing in terror...she just wouldn't have survived long, even if the constant terror didn't kill her outright. And poor Misdreavus. She liked Lovrina, I think. She did her best to protect "Miss" with spoopy powers, but it wasn't enough against the power of a god...

@Guest

Well, if she is stuck in a coma, that doesn't mean she will never wake up. If (again, very big maybe) an aura user were to show up, they might be able to pull her out of whatever nightmare she is stuck having - though it would be risky, and might possibly end up killing them, as aura used to save someone's life isn't the same as using it to attack something. I mean, Mewtwo did something similar with Gardevoir when she was almost overtaken by the shadowfication process in the Buried Relic. Err..at least, I'm pretty sure Mewtwo was using aura in order to snap her out of it that is.

But then again, maybe she really is dead! (That would be pretty morbid tbh.)

Don't Let Dreams Be Dreams, make them happen! :)

I-I had a vision just now...

A room filled with Lovrina's Pokemon, mourning her untimely death, when suddenly, the body starts to move! The dead human believed to be Lovrina immediately removes a mask made to look like Lovrina and reveals themself to be none other than...Miror B! He immediately breaks into dance with his four Ludicolos, complete with background music + gaudy light show, and all of the Pokemon, along with N and Wes rejoice at once, and begin dancing as well. Soon the darkness throughout the world begins to lift, and all the shadow pokemon are returned to normal, thus proving that the power of dance can change the world!

The End, 5/5 - Perfect Original Ending - sulferbunny receives studio funding to direct Victory Fire the anime and becomes an instant millionaire, while I am moved with tears that my favorite character of all time has made an appearance at long last!

...

And then I woke up, it was raining outside...

@Dark Matter

Ok, thanks for the spoilers, that's definitely the canon ending of VF. The rest of the comic is just sloppy fanfic can't be compared with such perfection :D

@XD-MADNESS Actually, there's one pokemon that's explicitly and forever dead in anime canon, and who actually died pretty much on-screen iirc. In the movie Pokemon Heroes (spoilers btw), Latios is killed in a battle and his spirit forms the Soul Dew before departing to the afterlife after saying a last goodbye to Latias. The scene was super fucking depressing because Latias didn't quite understand that Latios was just a soul and she tried to hug him but kept passing through him and then started crying... ~A family film~

Also there's Amber, Charmandertwo, Bulbasaurtwo, and Squirtletwo who all very plainly died on screen in the Japan-only first scene of Mewtwo Strikes Back. That was also depressing as a kid.

Man, pokemon movies got darker than I remembered .-.

Aww, Misdreavus looks so cute and scared...I just wanna hug it...

And then Wes. XD "Speak spook" is now my new favorite silly thing to say.

@XD-MADNESS: You have to fill me in here, what other three times did Ash die?
