You'd think Kecleon would know what that was and how to do it.

  Keckleon's not a TM

Of course if he saw it he knows what it is but knowing how to do it... nah I don't think so

Wow...just wow.
I mean I played all the mystery dungeons for the plot but I was never a fan because of the awful, grindy dungeon system. But this? This is just incredible.
You've tied it in with the original plot beautifully and the art style has just been stellar. The way you portray the Pokemon's culture, the way they think and how they are so different from the humans-turned-pokemon...I haven't come across a fan-made story-line of this caliber in...well ever!
I'm always hesitant to praise people on the internet because I prefer constructive criticism to pure fangasming (and we all know how well criticism of any kind is received online, heh), but this is incredibly well thought out and masterfully executed.
You, sir, are amazing

Thank you for your kind comment, Skjolty. I can't respond directly since you're a Guest unfortunately, but perhaps you'll happen to come back at some point and see this reply :)

Many PMD fanworks treat the pokemon as humans in animal bodies: the arriving human immediately finds like-minded allies and fits in. We have always felt that it would not be that easy, and that changing your body doesn't necessarily change what you are inside it. That concept is at the core of what we try to do with PMD:VF. Pokemon are not lesser beings than humans, they're not necessarily less intelligent (Gengar really needs to learn this!) but their minds often work very differently.

For future reference, we're absolutely fine with criticism, constructive or otherwise; if something sucks we'd like to know so we can improve it!

yaaaay, I made an account XD
I totally agree with you; Pokemon are intelligent, but not in the same way humans are. In fact I think the Pokemon TV show illustrates that perfectly (as does your comic). If Gengar realised the potential of using human strategy in pokemon battles, things would get veeeery interesting indeed.
Also, I'm glad you guys are open to criticism. It's not needed here because you guys are very clearly putting a loooot of effort and time into this, but when it IS needed, constructive criticism is very useful. It's just a shame so few people see it that way
